*Peachtree TV (WPCH-TV) has kicked off the spring with an array of locally produced entertainment for viewers in the ATL to enjoy. The independent TV station made the announcement late last month that its 8-9pm time slot will be home to new unscripted shows, including comedy, reality TV, and news programming.
The shows will be produced by, and feature Atlanta celebrities and influencers.
According to reps, the latest updates and improvements have come after the Atlanta-headquartered station Gray Television finalized its purchase of WANF (formerly WGCL), WPCH and Meredith Corporation’s other television stations.
Additionally, it comes after the promotion of Micheal Smith, a longtime employee of the station who recently became Station Manager.
“We hope to create a sense of community among content creators, and provide some fun, engaging entertainment to keep Atlanta smiling,” said Micheal Smith. “To that end, we’ve tapped some well-known talent and influencers in the city to be a part of the new landscape that we are creating at Peachtree TV. Names like Trina Braxton, Sasha the Diva, Killer Mike and Symphony Thompson and so many others are a part of these projects. This is just the beginning for Peachtree TV.”
